Welcome to Girl Scouts of
Green Hills Council, Inc. |
Girl Scouts of Green Hills Council, Inc. serves Stephenson, Jo Daviess, Ogle, Lee, Whiteside, and Carroll Counties in Illinois and Lafayette and Grant Counties in Wisconsin. The Girl Scouts of Green Hills Council, Inc. serves girls in grades K - 12 providing self-esteem building programs where they learn about financial literacy, science and technology, travel, the environment, health and wellness, and community service.
The Girl Scout Leadership Development Program includes the:
GS Daisy - Grades K-1
GS Brownie - Grades 2-3
GS Junior - Grades 4-5
GS Cadette Grades - 6-8
GS Senior - Grades 9-10
GS Ambassador - Grades 11-12.
Girl Scouts of Green Hills Council, Inc. is a United Way Agency and one of more than 150 Girl Scout Councils nation-wide. Girl Scout Councils are non-profit organizations incorporated to serve specific geographic areas. In Girl Scouts, a leader is a girl who discovers a strong sense of self, connects with others by cooperating and teaming up for success, and takes action to solve problems in the world around her.
